Yay Lorelei!
Today we went in the rain and yuck to see Dr. Shuler, the cardiologist. She let them listen to her heart and chest, check pulses but would NOT let them take her blood pressure. They also did an ECHO, just to check the pressure gradient going through her valve. Before her operation the pressure was 116. It is now down to 32! Dr. S said that this is mild sub-aortic stenosis and people live with that every day. He stopped her Lasix too. The hope is now that the obstruction is gone, her valve will grow normally and once it starts growing the pressure gradient will go to normal. Normal is that word in a CHD family's vocabulary???? We are praising God for the good doctors and nurses that have taken care of our little girl! We have to go back in a month but Dr. S was VERY pleased with how she is doing!

So glad to hear that great report!!. Zeb absolutely hates the blood pressure cuff...we have to fight with him every time. I am so glad to hear that pressure gratient..that is awesome!! You know I know alot about that stuff..Zeb's pressures are in low 50's now...they are continuing to monitor his valve and leakage every 3 months. They are amazed that he hasn't already had to have the Ross..but I know it is God, cause I pray all the time. So Proud for Miss Lo...She is adorable !!! Talk to you soon! I need to know more about the Friday freebies thing your friend does...confused.. :)
