My Heart Is Full!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day to everyone! John and I celebrated by going out to lunch with Lorelei and relaxing all day! It was very nice. On Friday the 13th, we went to Lorelei's friend Evie's (in the purple dress) first birthday party! It was so much fun. It was also nice to be around families that have gone through the same thing we have. (The Butchers were there too, and by the way, Rebecca is pregnant again, please keep the family in your prayers!) We are going to have a play date this week with her too!

Lorelei is doing great. She is pulling up and cruising all over. She still isn't sure about the walking thing but she's a quick learner. She blows raspberries and claps all the time. She loves bathtime too.

Lorelei and I wore our Palmetto Hearts t-shirts on the same day to raise awareness for Congenital Heart Defects. Don't mind Lorelei, she just woke up.

Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week

So Saturday started the week. John and I have bought shirts to let everyone know about the week. I will be wearing mine tomorrow as we have all decided to wear pink. On Friday we will wear red and then the whole family is going to celebrate our Heart Friend Evie's Birthday! I think that is the best way to end the week (other then Valentine's Day).

Lorelei is doing great, she has 4 teeth, crawling and clapping. She is also pulling up to standing and I have realized that I am NOT ready for her to walk yet. She's still my baby! We have to barricade her in the living room so she won't go into the kitchen and eat the dog food. She has busted through it a few times. It's pretty bad when a 9 month old outsmarts you! Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Today would be Annabelle's first birthday. She is the gorgeous daughter of our friends Rebecca and Scott, her blog is on the right hand side. She is now with our Lord but in honor of her birthday, the family is requesting us to bake pink cupcakes and send balloons up to Heaven. She asks that we send in pictures to her, I will post the email later this afternoon. I just wanted to remember Annabelle. Happy Birthday dear girl!

In with the new....

So I know I haven't been around for a while, I have a crawling child and that's the only way I can explain it! We had great holidays and then came the stomach virus. We all had it including my mom and my cousin. Not fun! We have had a few exciting things happen in the past few weeks. Lorelei started crawling and is now pulling up on anything and everything. She isn't pulling up on her feet just yet, just her knees but we know its coming. We have started babyproofing! Also she now has 3 teeth and several more trying to come in.
Lorelei had her 9 month Dr appointment today. She weighs 16lbs and is 28 inches long. Dr. Bonnett says that everything looks great. I am truly happy about that.
We have also found out that some of our friends are going to have a heart baby. They learned about this just last week. They are going to Charleston on Thursday to meet with the Pediatric Cardiologists there and find out more about what they are going to go through. So far they know he has a single ventricle and a small pulmonary artery and/or valve. Please pray for them as they journey through this time. I am going to add some pics from Christmas and winter. Hope everyone is doing well.

Stomach virus and Happy New Year!

Last night Lorelei started throwing up and then this morning she started with the poop! Her pediatrician said that there is a bug going around. So now I have it and John thinks he's getting it. LOVELY!

Merry Christmas!

I am so unorganized this year! I am ususally on time with birthday/anniversary cards and one of the first ones out with my Christmas cards except now I have a baby! I believe that my New Year's resolution is to get organized! Well I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The next few days will be hectic I am sure so I probably won't get to post anything but I will get some pics up from Christmas and all. I also wanted to thank everyone again for their thoughts and prayers! We have been very blessed this year with Lorelei. We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday!
