Giving Thanks!

We have had a very eventful week! It started out with the arrival of John's parents and brother and his Uncle Kevin. We then went to the Palmetto Hearts 1st Annual Golf Tournament. It was a huge success! We raised $4200 and our goal was $3000. It was COLD but a very fun day! I got to deliver drinks to the guys (and one girl) and about froze. Lorelei played with Gramma all day.
Palmetto Hearts is the support group we are a part of that helps families with children that have Congenital Heart Defects. Some of the proceeds go to Annabelle Baskets (you can read on the side bar under Annabelle Baskets or Angel Annabelle). Lorelei was the first baby to receive an Annabelle Basket. If you read Angel Annabelle you will also see that there are now magnets. If you would like to purchase please let me know and I can direct you to the right person.

Then Aunt Jeannette, Uncle Marc and Jack arrived for Thanksgiving. We had a feast! It was really fun to see Jack and Lo together. Even though they are 5 months apart they are almost the same size.

The Friday after Thanksgiving was Lorelei's Baptism. She did well until the end when she decided she was tired and hungry. It was funny to watch her face as Deacon Greg was baptising her. She looked at him like "I've already had a bath and Gramma washed my hair". We then went to Memaw's and ate leftovers and had cake.

After that we went went home and opened Christmas presents from Gramma, Grampa and Uncle Tommy. It was so much fun! Lorelei was a tired little girl and while Daddy and Grampa were putting together her kitchen, she fell asleep!

We have had a lot to be thankful for this year. We have a beautiful, healthy daughter, a wonderful family, great friends and new friends! This has been a great year! I am humbled.
